Heron Run / Heron Landing Renovations

Heron Run Apartments is a 46-unit, occupied, affordable family community, and Heron Landing Apartments is a 51-unit, occupied, affordable senior housing community located adjacent to each other in Kenmore.

The project scope consisted of exterior siding, trim, and rot repair, exterior painting, new deck coatings, new roofs, new aluminum railings, an update of the fire alarm system, asphalt repairs and sealing, new gutters and downspouts, new playground equipment, and fence repairs.

Rafn’s self-performed work included rot repair, siding and window removal, trim replacement, drywall repairs, and landscape grading.

Diamond Parking Repair

Rot and seismic repair to a circa 1900 historic building in downtown Seattle. The building is a 5-story URM brick structure with 6” concrete floors and large wood post and decking for the roof structure. After it was gutted by fire in 1917, it was converted into a parking garage around 1923.

Bush School Gracemont

The 12,000 square foot building was originally a private mansion and was donated to the school in 1944. It is now a City of Seattle landmark and it’s historic features inside and out are well preserved.
