Heather Bunn
Heather’s formal construction career began in 1984, working primarily on affordable housing projects for non-profit clients. Heather joined Rafn in 1990 and retired at the end of 2024. As a partner at Rafn, she was responsible for client relations and overall company direction as she strived to serve our commercial clients with the same enthusiasm and dedication that she was known for amongst the non-profit and affordable housing community. Having personally constructed several million square feet of both commercial and multifamily projects, she was an advocate of sustainable goals, high-quality construction standards, and collaborative cost-reduction strategies.
Heather sat on NAIOP’s Sustainable Development committee, ULI’s Workforce Housing Product Council, and Co-chaired a very active Affinity Group within the Housing Development Consortium of Seattle – King County. She also served as a volunteer on the Seattle Mayor’s Housing Affordability and Livability Agenda task force (HALA), was an instructor in the University of Washington’s Real Estate Development Certificate program, and was on the Boards of several non-profit organizations.
