Temple De Hirsch Sinai

This new 35,000 sf church project in Bellevue was challenging in two ways:

  • The design had to meet a predetermined construction budget.
  • The chosen site narrowly restricted the options for design solutions.

In the preconstruction phase, every aspect of design was under scrutiny to derive a mix of design program, building systems, and materials that represented the best possible value. This required a very close working relationship between ourselves, the architect and the Temple.

The resulting solution is an award winning design and simple palette of materials that are brought together for stunning effect. The completed facility includes a 650-seat sanctuary, social hall, library, offices, daycare and school. The project was completed on schedule and budget.
