 Thomas Medical Office Building

The Thomas Building is a two story 16,970 square-foot medical office building in Tacoma.

The structure consists of concrete footings & crawlspace foundations, CMU exterior walls, and steel frame with slab-on-metal deck. Exterior is CMU and metal stud framing in fills covered with stucco.

The small size of the site and the triangular shape of the building made it a challenging project in terms of layout, staging and structural steel fabrication & erection. Special arrangements were made with an adjacent church to share parking lot area. We were able to gain the additional temporary space necessary for staging while the church received a cleaned parking lot for their service each weekend.
