The PSBJ’s rankings are based on surveys of nominated companies’ employees by a third-party research firm. The surveys included questions that employees were asked to answer on a six-point scale from “strongly agree” to “strongly disagree”. Each company that completed the survey requirements was ranked according to its composite score. PSBJ then chose to honor the top 25 scoring companies in four categories based on company size.
