Jack Rafn, Chairman Emeritus

Tom Ambrey: CEO

In my role as CEO, I bring vitality and focus to the vision of RAFN, in order to shape not just the satisfaction of our clients but also the quality of the legacy we leave to our community.

Tom graduated with a BA degree from Denver University in 1970 and has worked exclusively in construction ever since. He co-owned and operated a residential general contracting company with his twin brother Frank before joining RAFN as a Carpenter in 1977. He worked as a Superintendent, Project Manager, Chief Operating Officer, and President before assuming his current position as CEO.

Shawn Rhode: President & COO

As President and Chief Operations Officer, I guarantee that we deliver superior quality in the field by providing our disciplined and focused team with all of the resources and support they need.

Shawn joined RAFN in 1982 as an Apprentice Carpenter. He worked as a Carpenter, Foreman, General Foreman, Project Engineer, Project Superintendent and General Superintendent before assuming his current position as Chief Operations Officer. He has served as Education Director of the RAFN Education Committee for 14 years and is the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Construction Industry Training Council.

Kim Bottles: Chief Financial Officer

The unshakable fiscal integrity of RAFN is of utmost importance to me. As Chief Financial Officer, I see to it that responsible cash management and complete compliance with standard accounting rules ensure our continued financial stability for years to come.

Kim graduated from California State University in 1976 as the top accounting student in his class. He became a licensed Certified Public Accountant in 1977 and joined the international accounting firm of Peat, Marwick, Mitchell and Co. After working in both the audit and tax departments, Kim launched successfully into private industry. Since joining the company in 1993, he has strived to ensure RAFN's long-term financial health.
