Subcontractor/Supplier Requirements
Rafn Company places high value on the relationships we have developed. Because of this, we are selective of the subcontractors and
suppliers we choose to partner with on our projects. If you are a subcontractor or supplier that runs a professional operation striving for continuous
improvement, please review our requirements listed below and complete the Subcontractor/Supplier Prequalification Form for approval.
Insurance Requirements
A current copy of your Certificate of Insurance with the following provisions is required before starting any project with Rafn Company:
- General Liability coverage — General Aggregate limit of at least $2,000,000; Each Occurrence limit of a least $1,000,000;
Completed Operations limit must be at least $2,000,000. The policy must be on a per-occurrence basis, with a general aggregate limit that
applies per project; both should be marked as such on the certificate.
- Automobile Liability coverage — The limit must be at least $1,000,000 for Combined Single Limit Bodily Injury and Property Damage.
- Employer's Liability coverage — The limit must be at least $1,000,000 for each accident, $1,000,000 for each employee, and $1,000,000 for the
policy. If your umbrella policy insures over your Employer's Liability limit, this must be stated on the Umbrella policy certificate.
- Excess Liability (Umbrella) coverage — General Aggregate limit of at least $1,000,000; Each Occurrence limit of a least
$1,000,000.
- The name of the certificate holder must be "Rafn Company." Our address is 1721 132nd Ave NE, Bellevue, WA 98005.
- Rafn Company and Project Owner must be named as Additional Insured for all operations with coverage shown as Primary and Non-contributory with a
Waiver of Rights of Subrogation. Be sure to attach a copy of the additional insured endorsement (CG 2010 or equivalent).
- Insurance carrier must have a minimum A.M. Best Rating of A- VII.
Safety Requirements
Rafn Company is proactive in providing a safe workplace, but your help is required in order to make it work. We require your field
supervisor and employees follow the requirements set forth by WISHA (Washington Industrial Safety and Health Act) and Rafn Company. The work your company
would perform has certain safety issues that must be addressed while working on any Rafn project.
Please submit your full safety plan and a sample site specific plan along with your completed Subcontractor/Supplier Prequalification Form
